FLOOR CLEANER & HEAVY DUTY DEGREASER
A powerful non-perfumed detergent degreaser formulated to remove the heaviest soil deposits from a wide variety of surfaces. Designed to be particularly effective at removing ingrained grease and grime from most types of flooring within the commercial catering environment.
Product Name: BLITZ
Description: Floor cleaner and heavy duty degreaser
Pack Size: 1x5lt
HOW TO USE
Floor cleaning is a major area of cleaning focus. Mop a solution of Blitz and hot water onto the floor, and leave the solution to work on the grease and grime for two minutes.
Then take a deck scrubber (a hard bristled floor brush) and deck scrub the floor. This is critical because the non-slip surface of the floor means there are nooks and crannies in which the soil lies. Once the deck scrubbing is complete, take a fresh, clean warm water solution and mop the floor free of chemical and residues.
Blitz must be diluted before use using a 30ml 5lt pelican pump, a manual wall mounted bucket pump or via an automatic chemical/water mixing station. For a bucket cleaning solution add two to four plunges of dispenser to a 23litre bucket of water depending on the degree of soiling.
Light Soiling: Add 2 plunges of BLITZ to 10lts of hot water. Agitate if necessary with a deck scrubber to remove stubborn grime before rinsing with clean water.
Heavy Soiling & Ingrained Dirt: Add 6 plunges of BLITZ to 10lts of hot water. Allow contact time and agitate if necessary with a deck scrubber to remove stubborn grime before rinsing with clean water.
Floor Scrubbing Machine: Add 500mls (1/2lt) per 80lt of water in the machine tank. Scrub floor to remove grime and remove the slurry.
Caution: This product must not be used on sealed or polished floors, as it may affect the finish. It should not be used on zinc, aluminium or similar alloys as it may cause damage to the surface. Follow the recommended dilution rates and rinse thoroughly after use, as using an over-concentrated solution or poor rinsing can leave a white chemical residue that may be difficult to remove.
SPECIAL NOTE: Floor Cleaning in Hard Water Areas
Are you in a hard water area? If the answer is yes consider the following. If lime scale is present in the water, it will be present in the bucket of water and chemical you use to clean your floors. Lime scale is a barrier to cleaning, and requires acidic detergents to clean properly. If you are experiencing difficulties with floor cleaning and you are in a hard water area, you should clean your floor once a week with the RP Adam Descaler. Lime scale will build up on the floor and act as an invisible sheet of glass preventing the grease and grime being removed.
